Trisha krishnan

 Trisha Krishnan, popularly known as Trisha, is a prominent Indian actress and model, celebrated for her work in Tamil and Telugu cinema. Born on May 4, 1983, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, she was raised in a Tamil family and later pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at Ethiraj College for Women.


Trisha began her career in modeling and beauty pageants, winning titles such as Miss Chennai and Miss Salem in 1999. She also earned the "Beautiful Smile" award at the Miss India 2001 pageant. Her entry into films started with a small role in Jodi (1999), but she made her lead debut in Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002), which catapulted her to fame. She achieved further success with blockbuster films like Saamy (2003), Ghilli (2004), and Varsham (2004).


Over her career, Trisha has appeared in more than 65 films across Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages. She has won numerous awards, including Filmfare Awards South, a Nandi Award, and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award.


In addition to her film work, Trisha ventured into web series with Brinda (2024), marking her OTT debut in a crime thriller role.


Known for her elegance and versatility, Trisha remains a popular actress in the South Indian film industry. Despite being engaged to businessman Varun Manian in 2015, the engagement was later called off. As of 2025, she is single and continues to focus on her acting career.
